INFINITE - Clock | #NotMyInfinite

INFINITE's main sound Sunggyu called, he wants his INFINITE back.

INFINITE himself Sunggyu is in the army and Hoya's not in INFINITE anymore doing RnB music that only he likes (more power to him) and their lines are distributed between the remaining members now. Ok, I don't care, but why were Sungjong and Sungyeol given raps? Never in my wildest dreams have I ever thought I'd see Sungjong & Sungyeol rap! Holy moly! lolol. And I never even liked that much how Hoya's rap sounded when he was still in INFINITE. I always preferred Dongwoo's rap parts. I would give less fucks about that if the instrumental was good. But it's not. On the second thought, I don't give a fuck about vocals and silly rap shit either. I listened to the song several times and I can't even remember it. I'll steal Jeremy Jahns' rating system and give this "T-Minus" score. The MV's as forgettable with Myungsoo's top-notch acting. "Yep, already forgot."

D i s a p p o i n t i n g.

The logo is also disappointing. It looks like angry cartoon lips. It's not the worst, but there were better times if we look at the official site and compare the previous logos with this one.

How about the teaser? Usually I dgaf about teasers, but I liked some that I've heard from INFINITE, because they don't sound like the final song. And that's why they're so good! They're like cool intros that producers experiment with.

For instance, this is my favorite INFINITE teaser ever. It sounds so good. It isn't intro to the album. It only exists exclusively for the teaser. How cool is that?

Now let's look at the teaser for Clock.

Nah. Like a trailer for a comedy movie it shows the best parts when the whole thing is meh.

As a casual noob fan who likes INFINITE's music that's kinda sad. INFINITE's discography has way better songs. For instance, The (dopest shit ever) Chaser was one of the first songs that welcomed me into the world of KPop. It still stays as one of the best KPop songs ever in my mind.

Their other songs are good too, but no INFINITE song topped it for me yet. One of the "recent" songs that came close was magnificent Air boasting awesome instrumental drop.

It'd be nice to hear another cool af shit like that before INFINITE disbands and Golden Child with Lovelyz take up the torch.
