I received an email from MAL today bringing these semi-recent news to my attention. MAL cites Gundam Global Portal as a source. The latest post there regarding Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans - Urðr1 Hunt doesn't say that it's going to be an ONA2. In, fact other sites too just say this going to be a mobile app mixed with anime. Wut?
I'm confused. The trailer doesn't look a like a game ad at all.
And look who is here! Gasp!
Is this old Mika? Can't be: he's dead. His son? No, too old. "The spinoff's story is set in the year P.D. 323, the same year as the television anime's story." His father? Brother? Mother?
Is Sunrise going to Jon Snow Mika?
Whatever the answer, idrc, I don't want to think.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans was the first series in the Gundam franchise for me, which I'm planning to eventually conquer sometimes in the future. I've watched IBO last year in summer and I have hazy memories of it. Weirdly, after I watch anything, doesn't matter recently or not, my mind often deletes 90% of the seen material from my memory. I remember enjoying IBO a lot tho. Mainly, I liked Mika's loyalty to Oruga3 and the bromance bond between them. I gravitate towards the loyal dog types. I liked Sunrise throwing a bone to nasty fujos like me and ripping our hearts out and stomping on them (I deserve it). I mean, it's Sunrise. They have been doing this ghei stuff since the fucking 90s! I liked action, giant robots fighting each other. I liked politics even tho I didn't understand it much. I hated and liked all the drama bullshitery. I liked that Dolly and not Kuderia got the Mikabowl. I forgive you now, Sunrise, for Lelouch x Shirley (despise this pairing). I found Tekkadan salud mi familia dynamic really charming. I didn't hate anyone in the crew, I think. Olga tried to bite off more than he could chew and that, perhaps, lead to Tekkadan's demise. Seeing kids like Olga, Mikazuki, Donut and others dying left and right for the family left a sad aftertaste. On the downside, I felt it was a bit too long and all the dialog pretty much prolly went like this:
Person A: I dun goofed.and it had other possible flows I can't name now. Despite that, these is the series that I can claim as "mine". I stumbled on it on my own, not because it was popular (or not) at that time and immediately was hooked. The driving force behind me having extra positive sensibilities for the show was that some of its "fetishes" (not sexual) were up my alley like homo and no-homo loyalty bs. I'd dare to say this is the closest to the BL shit I'm seeking for even though it's not BL at all (which is perhaps one of the best kind of BL, where there's no big focus on a love story): plenty of cool action, spicy political juice, main duo care about each other, it's not a big deal, they're actually complex people, not caricatures, the story doesn't evolve around love bs. For the record, I'm just drawing wild comparisons between apples and oranges here and put a drop of my degenerate dreams, probably. Idk. I'm still waiting for another No. 6, but not boring, god dammit. Don't get me wrong, I'm not exclusively into BL shit, I love plenty of "normal" normie stuff too: Attack Of Titan, My Hero Academia, Hunter x Hunter, Gurren Lagann, Code Geass, Mob Psycho, Psycho-Pass to name a few.
Person B: No, I fucked up more. Ramblerambleramble. I'm sorry for worrying my fans. I'll reflect and show a different side of me in the future.
Person A: Ramblerambleramble. I will do the same.
Btw, the op song Raise Your Flag makes my skin crawl like I'm Gordon Ramsay on Hot Ones.
...
Cue in aggressive knee slap.
This post is sad. All of this is sad, Alexa play Orufenzu no Namida.

I didn't know the first 2 of these things:
1 - Urðr (Old Norse "fate") is one of the Norns in Norse mythology. The Norns in Norse mythology are female beings who rule the destiny of gods and men. I don't know how to pronounce this word either in Norse. In Japanese the title says "uruzu".
2 - An original net animation (ONA), known in Japan as Web Anime, is an anime that is directly released onto the Internet.
3 - Olga is a common Russian girl name lol
