Eve are back on their track [Inochinotabekata] [いのちの食べ方]

Finally, eve, the lonely edgy weebs' dreams' sonic and visual representation, released a contender for Tokyo Ghetto's place in my book. Sure, some songs since then were aight and had incredible MVs, but none has grabbed me like Tokyo Ghoul Ghetto did until いのちの食べ方 came out.

I fucking love groovy shit in my songs as can be seen from the song rated first in this post. As soon as I heard bass guitar building up in the beginning I knew this song would be the shit. Although eve do write memorable melodies the main guitar melody in this song is especially pleasant. As in Tokyo Ghetto the verses stir up interest with rhythmic bass drum beat before slowing down for more memorable pre-chorus and then finally leading to chorus with great emotional YORUGA (or whatever he's saying), what sung besides similarly emphasized words doesn't matter (vocal melody is whatever). Unlike Tokyo Ghetto, where breakdown seemed to follow continuity of the song a bit better, here breakdown, while didn't sound awful, felt a bit shoehorned in. At the end Eve used a sneaky tactic of abrupt ending of the song playing into desire to hit that replay button again and again.

The MV is magnifique as always. It was done by one person, damn. Their name is Mariyasu. Their website is gorgeous. I like it. Although heavy, Japanese websites tend to be beautifully visually organised.
